PESHAWAR: Secretary General Jamat-e-Islami, Liaquat Baloch Saturday stressed the need for not backing away from the decision of Bonn Conference withdrawal, Geo News reported.

Talking to media men at JI provincial headquarters, Liaquat Baloch said: "Like Shamsi Air base all American army centers must be closed forthwith and Nato supply must be suspended permanently. Any leniency on part of Pakistan’s army and government will encourage further Nato territorial and air strikes in Pakistan."

He said boycotting the Bonn Conference was a right decision.

Liaqat Baluch said the rulers through their own acts are encouraging ultra- constitutional change in Pakistan and paving the way for derailing the democratic system in Pakistan.

“The Memogate scandal has exposed the real faces of the rulers and now through a very un-civilized manner the PPP leaders are trying to attack the Supreme Court,” he observed and said all the national institutions had reached to the verge of collapse while the incompetent rulers had failed to solve the issues of the people.

“we will come in the field for election with our revolutionary manifesto,” he said adding that capitalism has been razed to the ground in the whole world and the Islamic forces were gaining popularity around the globe.

Referring to the situation in Fata, he said operations in Fata must be stopped forthwith and education and health facilities should be promoted in Fata as people of Fata have been badly suffered but still they were backing Pakistani forces.

To a question regarding Nawaz Sharif’s allegations against Imran for having support of secret agencies, he said the question should be asked either to Imran Khan or Nawaz Sharif as JI has no links with the issue.

On this occasion vice chief of JI Sirajul Haq and provincial amir of JI Professor Ibrahim was also present. (PPI)
