Faisalabad industries to face 4-day gas cut/week

FAISALABAD: Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) on Saturday announced to increase one more day to the 3-day gas loadshedding per week announced earlier for Faisalabad industries, Geo News reported.

This would add further to the hardship of the daily wagers, as they would have to face unemployment not for three days but four days a week.

The industrial associations rejecting the decision of SSGC, announced to launch a protest movement after the 10th of Moharram.

According to the earlier schedule, the gas supply was supposed to be restored for the industries yesterday but All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association said that SSGC had issued a new gas loadshedding schedule.

Under the new schedule, the industries will undergo not three but four days gas loadshedding per week.
