No shortage of fertilizers for Rabi crops: Pervaiz Elahi

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Industries Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi has assured the farmers that there would be no shortage of required fertilizers for Rabi crops, Geo News reported.

In a statement, the federal minister said National Fertilizers Marketing Limited has imported 17,000 tonnes of fertilizers via Gawadar port on Dec 04 that has been transported to the other parts of the country, adding that the quantity of the fertilizers sent in one day is also a record.

Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi said government machinery is being utilized round-the-clock for transportation of imported fertilizers.
