Truck-van collision kills 14 in Vehari

VEHARI: At least fourteen persons including four children were killed in an accident when a passenger van collided with a truck due to which the CNG cylinder in the van exploded Saturday, Geo News reported.

The accident occurred at Melsi Road near Sultanpur area.

According to rescue sources, 14 persons including four children were burnt and many injured when the CNG cylinder of a van exploded and caught fire due to collision with a truck at Melsi Road.

At least 28 people were traveling in the van at the time of the accident.

Police have arrested the driver of the truck and his helper from Multan.
