Abbottabad Commission interviews political leaders; summons Haqqani to explain issuance of visas
ISLAMABAD: The commission tasked with investigating the US raid in Abbottabad in which Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was killed held interviews of leaders from different political parties on Tuesday, Geo News reported.

During the meeting of the commission, interviews of Awami National Party (ANP) head Asfandyar Wali, Afrasiab Khattak, JI leader Professor Khursheed and PTI leader Hamid Ali Khan were held.

According to sources, the leaders informed the commission that the nation had great hopes from them.

Sources further add that the commission will next meet on December 19 in which former minister Sheikh Rasheed and former ambassador Husain Haqqani have been summoned.

Haqqani has been summoned to explain the issuance of visas to Americans.
