MIRPUR: Two persons including a woman were killed while one other got serious injuries when an over-speeding motorbike, they were traveling on, rammed into a car coming from opposite direction at Mirpur-Kotli Road here late Monday.
Police told APP that Muhammad Shabir Shad and Shamim Akhter lost their lives whereas their associate Ramzan sustained serious injuries after their unregistered motorbike rammed into an over-speedy Car (IDN-8118) coming from opposite direction near Dhairi Choudhrian village on Kotli Road, about 7 km from the city.
Ramzan was later shifted to hospital in Rawalpindi following his critical condition.
The car driver fled away from the scene soon after the accident.
Police has registered a case against the absconding car driver and impounded both the vehicles.
