Pharmacists organise demonstration

MULTAN: Scores of Pharmacists on Tuesday staged a protest demonstration at Nawan Shehr Chowk against their termination from service.

The protesters carrying banners and placards were chanting slogans in favour of their demands. They demanded the government to reinstate them and their jobs should be regularised.

It is pertinent to mention that 174 Pharmacists working on ad-hoc basis had been terminated from service.

Mohammad Asif, a Pharmacist while talking to APP said that Punjab government was regularising the service of paramedics and doctors but it is lamentable that pharmacists were being sacked. (APP)
