Musharraf to return to Pak before March 23: Jawaid Siddiqui

DALLAS, TEXAS: (Raja Zahid A Khanzada): Vice President of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) USA, Jawaid Siddiqui has said that former president of Pakistan Pervaz Musharraf’s return date to Pakistan is changed from 23 March to last week of January or first week of February2012.

Talking to Jang/Geo news Jawaid Siddiqi said he had a meeting with President Musharraf upon his US arrival in New York in which preparation for his return to Pakistan was discussed.

He said it is yet to be decided as which city he will be landing in Pakistan. Lahore, Islamabad or Karachi are in consideration for this. However, the final decision will be made by 31st of December.

He said, a number of Pakistani expatriates from America, Canada, and Europe and from Middle East have shown willingness to get to Dubai for this purpose, and around 4 or 5 charter planes will get to Pakistan with Musharraf from Dubai.

Mr. Jawaid Siddiqui said almost 3-plane load of seats are already reserved.

He said that their legal committee in Pakistan is already viewing options against all court cases against Musharraf and courts will be approached for a pre-arrest bail before his arrival. He said he is hopeful that bail will be granted from courts.

However, other options may be used if any untoward circumstances were created and workers are getting mobilized and APML will be organizing rallies in all provinces to mobilize workers for this purpose.
