Rescue-1122 staff to get pay-raise: Sana Ullah

LAHORE: Provincial Law Minister Rana Sana Ullah said that the Punjab government will increase the salaries of Rescue-1122 employees as equivalent to Punjab police.

Addressing the passing out ceremony of more than 900 Rescuers, held here on Saturday, he said the provincial government expanded Rescue-1122 in all over Punjab in the best interest of people.

"We will provide this emergency service upto tehsil level", he added.

The passing out cadets performed their professional skills in mass casualties due to explosion & fire, rescue & emergency management of victims and fire fighting was also arranged on this occasion.

The cadets have been given specialized trade specific training, which include rescue, emergency medical treatment and fire fighting.

On the occasion, Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue-1122) Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer congratulated the rescuers and asked them to work day and night. (APP)
