One killed, two injured in road mishap

FAISALABAD: A motorcyclist was killed while his wife and a son received serious injuries when a bus hit them near Truck Stand in Jhang, in the area of Jhang Bazaar police station on Sunday.

According to police, Muhammad Siddique of Chak No.7-JBalong with his wife and minor son was riding a motorcycle when a rashly driven bus coming from the rear hit the two-wheeler near Truck Stand.

As a result, Siddique died on the spot while his wife and son received serious injuries. The injured were shifted to hospital for medical treatment.

The police took the body and bus into its custody.

The bus driver has been arrested. (APP)
