Jehangir Tareen, Leghari brothers join PTI

LAHORE: Thirty former ministers and parliamentarians have joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Geo News reported.

PTI chairman Imran Khan said positions in the party would be given on the basis of merit.

Some of the prominent politicians who have joined the PTI include Jehangir Tareen, both sons of former President Farooq Leghari (Awais and Jamal Leghari), Sikander Bosan and Ghulam Sarwar Khan.

Speaking during a news conference announcing their inclusion, Jehangir Khan Tareen said the politicians had joined the PTI for the prosperity of Pakistan.
