2-day flower exhibition starts

FAISALABAD: A two-day flower exhibition was opened at the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) here on Monday.

Professor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan VC UAF inaugurated the exhibition arranged by Institute of Horticultural Sciences (IHS) and Pakistan Society of Horticultural Sciences.

The exhibition provides many varieties of flower exhibits besides stalls of fresh organic vegetables and garden decorations.

IHS Director Professor Dr Muhammad Amjad Aulak was supervisor while Dr Atif Riaz was coordinator of the event.

A corner of the exhibition was decorated with the stalls of Mehndi and artificial jewelry that attracted scores of women.

Ayub Agriculture Research Institute and Sitara Chemical also displayed their stalls.
