ISLAMABAD: As the winter season is touching its peak, a considerable rush is witnessed at fish outlets in different areas of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad where fish is selling like hot cakes.
The fish stalls were crowded with the men, women and children who come to these outlets to hit the cold with the dish of fish. Usually, fish is favorite dish of everyone but it becomes more popular in the winter season.
Various kinds of fish including Mushka, Simon, Pamphlet, Mahsher, Black Raho and Lobsters are being served at the stalls and outlets.
Different types of fried fish are sold from Rs.350 per kilograms to Rs.600 per kilograms while its rate is Rs.1000 per kilogram at some hotels.
People can also be seen selling fish on bicycles while several vendors have set up makeshift stalls alongside the busy roads where people buy fish.
Fish is sold at different stalls from Rs.180 per kilogram to Rs.400 per kilogram according to its size and quality. (APP)
