15 outlaws held in Rawalpindi with liquor, drugs, illegal weapons

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Police in its crackdowns against anti-social elements Wednesday claimed to have arrested 15 outlaws and recovered 20 bottles liquor, drugs and illegal weapons, a press release said.

Police during operations against criminals arrested drug peddlers and other criminals and have recovered 590 grams charras, 20 bottles liquor, five pistol 30 bore with 17 bullets and one revolver with six rounds.

Separate cases have been registered against the accused including Imran Ahmed, Azram Khan, Abdul Rehman, Ashfaq Khan, Muhammad Irfan, Muhammad Liaquat, Ibrar Hussain, Muhammad Israil, Muhammad Akram, Muhammad Saqib, Abbas Ali, Nasir Mahmood, Atif Mahmood, Muhammad Ashraf and Imran Ahmed in the respective police stations while further investigations are underway, says a press release issued here.
