Gas closure hits Faisalabad industries, CNG stations

FAISALABAD: Gas supply to Faisalabad industrial sector has been halted for four days while the CNG stations are closed for three days, Geo News reported Thursday.

According to the gas load management schedule issued by Sui Northern Gas, gas supply to the industries was suspended from 6 am on Thursday and will continue till 6 am on December 26.

All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association (APTPMA) chairman Mian Aftab Ahmad told that the sui gas department reduced the pressure from 10 pound to 1.5 pound nine hours before the gas closure due to which the production process was jammed.

On the other hand, all the CNG stations in the region are closed for three days which has added to the misery of people. The residents told that the extensive gas loadshedding is adversely affecting their routine life.
