HYDERABAD: The management of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) on Friday announced power suspensions at different grid stations on December 24 and 25 due to some maintenance work.
According to an announcement, the HESCO will suspend power supply for six hours on Saturday from 220 KV Hala Grid Stations to 11 KV Market Tower Feeder. As a result, the areas of Market Tower, Tilak Incline, Dadan Shah, St. Bonaventure School, City Thana and Shahi Bazar will be affected from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
On December 25, 2011, the repair and maintenance work will be carried out at 133 KV Qasimabad Grid Station as a result of which there will be no power supply from the grid station to different 11 KV Feeders from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
The areas of Indus Gas Colony, Hadi Nagar, Anwer Villas and Wahdat Colony of 11 KV Anwar Villas Feeder, Ali Palace, Ali Heights, HDA Office, Pak Views and Marvi Road of 11 KV Mehran Feeder, Ghosia Plaza, Saeedabad, Citizen Colony, Mehran Homes and Rajpar Plaza of 11 KV Citizen Colony Feeder and Saifi Colony, Baldia Colony, Mubarak Colony and Gharibabad of 11 KV Baldia Feeders will be affected as a result of power suspension.
On December 26, 2011, power supply from 132 KV NTPS Grid Station to 11 KV Memon Hospital Feeder will be suspended from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The areas of Market Road, Nain-ka-Pir, Cloth Market, Kaath Chowk, Station Road, Memon Mohallah and Siro Ghat will be affected as a result of power suspension.
On the same day, the areas of Hashmat Bano Town, Mirza Para, Tando Thoro and Ansari Mohallah of 11 KV Paretabad Feeder and Islamabad Chowk, Goods Naka, Allahdad Chand Goth and Jani Shah Mohallah of 11 KV Islamabad Feeder will be affected from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. as a result of repair and maintenance work at 132 KV Phuleli Grid Station.
