4,000 cops to perform duty on Christmas

LAHORE: Capital City Police Officer Ahmad Raza Tahir said police commandos had been deputed at all churches of the city on Christmas.

He said that more than 4,000 police officials would perform duty on Christmas and additional force had also been deputed at entry and exit points of the city.

He directed divisional SPs to constitute special raiding teams to take stern action against revellers and persons involved in firing and one-wheeling on the eve of Christmas and New Year celebrations.

He directed divisional SPs to personally monitor the performance of the force under their command and submit a performance report on a daily basis. (APP)
