ISLAMABAD: The inquiry commission on Abbottabad operation met here on Monday and recorded statements of journalists, analysts and anchorpersons, Geo News reported Monday.
Senior anchorperson Hamid Mir, civilian military analyst Ayesha Siddiqa and senior journalist Imtiaz Gul appeared before the commission and recorded their statements. They exchanged information regarding the May 2 operation with the commission.
Commission head Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal complained that some anchors did not share information that they usually do on-screen during their shows.
The commission reviewed other details of the investigation carried out so far in the May 2, 2011 incident that killed Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden (OBL) by the US forces.
