GUJRANWALA: Fourteen people were killed over a land dispute between two families in Gujranwala Thursday, Geo News reported.
According to RPO Gujranwala Ahmed Mubarak, members of Javed group opened fire rival group Saifullah’s house that killed two persons. The two mentioned groups were having a dispute over a piece of land.
To avenge Javed group, Saifullah group put three houses of the opposite group on fire raising the death toll to 14.
Police told that casualties increased due to suffocation and burning.
CPO Tufail Ahsan while speaking to Geo News said that teams have been formed and the culprits will be arrested soon.
