MULTAN: A man was allegedly burnt to death in suburbs of Multan. Meanwhile, police has detained four suspects from the area, Geo news reported.
According to the report, a contractor of oranges’ farm Zahoor Pathan, resident of Qadir Puran, was burnt to death. Heirs of the victim said that Zahoor was residing in a hut at the farm along with his associates Ghulam Shabir and Tahir Baloch.
Family members of the victim claimed that Zahoor’s associates set ablaze his hut in greed for money, resultantly the contractor died on the spot.
Meanwhile, Ghulam Shabir said that he was on the other side of the farm. He said that he heard the sound of a fire and did not visit the hut due to fear.
Police has apprehended Ghulam Shabbir, Tahir Baloch, his father Zafar Baloch and brother Janib Baloch.
