The achievement comes after Geo News already became the most popular news channel being aired on TV. The channel has now accomplished the same success on digital platforms too.
On this occasion, the channel has extended its regards to the public for supporting it and making it the most-watched news platform in the country.

Geo Television Network was established in May 2002 and is owned by the Jang Media Group. The channel began test transmission on August 14, 2002, with regular transmission beginning October 1, 2002.
