FAISALABAD: Faisalabad police failed to nab 7,620 accused including 39 most wanted criminals whose head money was fixed at Rs 50,000 to Rs 500,000 during 2011.
According to a police spokesman, higher authorities repeatedly ordered subordinates to arrest outlaws, especially with head money, but the district police despite all efforts could not trace and nab 7,620 most wanted criminals in Faisalabad.
Among the criminals, 1,493 are of Category A, he said and added that Sadar Tandlianwala police were given the task to arrest 408 criminals while women police to nab eight outlaws.
The spokesman said that five criminals were those whose head money was fixed at Rs.500,000 each. Among the criminals include Khalid of Chak No.185-RB, Sana Ullah alias Nanho of Chak No.107-RB, Akbar Ali Ratho of Chak No.37-RB, Muhammad Asif of Chak No.91-JB and Ramazan Ali alias Guddu of Chak No.451-JB.
Head money of Rana Nisar of Street No.2 Amin Abad No.2 Samanabad was fixed at Rs 300,000 while those whose head money is Rs 200,000 each include Amir Bashir of Rehmat Town Ghulam Muhammad Abad, Muhammad Mujahid Ali of Chak No.167-GB, Naseem Ali alias Naseemoo of Chak No.53 police station Garh, Muhammad Azam alias Haider of Chak No.204-RB, Muhammad Arif alias Affi of Chak No.204-RB, Adil Mukhtar of Chak No.107-JB, Muhammad Ashraf of Chak No.107-JB, Muhammad Arshad of Chak No.107-JB, Zaka Ullah of Chak No.107-JB, Atta Ullah of Chak No.107-JB, Abbas alias Kalu Shah of Chak No.107-JB, Muhammad Akram Chak No.107-JB, Farrukh Mukhtar of Chak No.107-JB, Manzoor Bashir of Chak No.186-RB, Muhammad Afzal of Chak No.186-RB, Hamza of Chak No.186-RB, Naveed of Chak No.186-RB, Safdar Ali of Chak No.186-RB, Muhammad Asif of Chak No.264-RB, Muhammad Khan alias Khani of Chak No.264-RB, Maqsood Ahmad alias Maqsoodi of Chak No.206-RB, Javaid alias Jeda of Chak No.47-GB Sammundri.
Similarly, Rs 50,000 head money was fixed for Sultan of Chak No.72-GB whereas among those whose head money was fixed at Rs.100,000 each include Zulfiqar Ali alias Bhutto of Chak No.66-RB, Iqbal of Chak No.66-RB, Muhammad Riaz of Chak No.73-GB, Waheed Ali of Chak No.571-JB, Imran Ali of Chak No.571-JB, Qalab Ali alias Mehnga of Thata Manak Shah, Rizwan Ali of Kehkshan Colony, Faisal Maqsood of Chak No.116-JB, Iqrar Ali alias Kari of Chak No.206-RB and Shahadat Ali alias Shadi of Chak No.592-GB.The spokesman said that the district police could arrest only 5,621 notorious criminals throughout year 2011.
