SC to hear NRO implementation case today

ISLAMABAD: A special five-member bench of Supreme Court would hear NRO implementation case today while an appeal seeking registration of second FIR in Benazir Bhutto’s murder case would be heard on Wednesday.

A five-member bench of the apex court headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa would hear the NRO implementation case on Tuesday. Other members of the bench included Justice Ejaz Afzal Khan, Justice Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry, Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Athar Saeed.

Chief Justice of Pakistan had sought report regarding implementation of NRO decision from President, Prime Minister, Attorney General among Federal and Provincial Secretaries, Registrar High Courts, all four Advocate Generals.

The very same bench would hear an appeal for the registration of second FIR in BB murder case.

Former protocol secretary of Benazir Bhutto Chaudhry Aslam in his appeal sought registration of second FIR against Babar Awan, Rehman Malik, Pervez Elahi, former DG IB Ijaz Shah among officials of Rawa’pindi administration.
