KARACHI: CID Police Thursday claimed the banned ‘Punjabi Taliban Group’ had perpetrated the Sofoora Chowk, University Road, and Kala Pull bomb blasts, Geo News reported.
Police came to know this after they captured one of the key activists of the militant outfit on Dec 31 last year.
The accused Farhan alias Ali revealed to the investigation agency that he and his accomplices fitted bombs in cement blocks, which were planted near Kala Pull and Safoora Chowk on Youm-e-Ashur.
It is pertinent to mention here that the bomb blasts killed four people including three Rangers personnel.
