Unconstitutional steps will not be tolerated: Ahsan Iqbal

ISLAMABAD: PML-N information secretary Ahsan Iqbal spoke to the media following Nawaz Sharif’s meeting with opposition leaders.

Iqbal said no unconstitutional steps would be tolerated and the supremacy of law and parliament was dependent on Supreme Court orders being implemented.

“A crisis is being created because Supreme Court orders are not being implemented.”

Commenting on the resolution tabled in parliament in favour of the government, Iqbal said this would not be supported.

The PML-N leader also called for immediate elections in the country adding that a democratic change had become essential.
