Kabaddi Tournament deferred

FAISALABAD: Divisional Commissioner Syed Tahir Hussian has deferred 1st Commissioner Gold Cup Kabaddi Tournament for Thursday in mourn of world's youngest Microsoft Engineer Arfa Karim Randhawa.

Prodigy Arfa Karim Randhawa belonged to Chak 4 Ramdewali, a village of Faisalabad.

Today, her body was laid to rest in her native village after offering funeral prayers twice at D-Ground here and the ground of Government High School of Chak 4 Ramdewali.

Commissioner deferred the tournament's final which was scheduled to be held today (Sunday) but earlier postponed for Monday due to rainy weather.

The commission announced that now the final would be held on Thursday (Jan 19) at Iqbal Stadium. (APP)
