LAHORE: Help Poor Women and Child Organisation (HPWCO) staged a protest demonstration against loadshedding of electricity and natural gas.
A number of people participated in the protest held outside Lahore Press Club on Friday. The participants were carrying banners and placards inscribed with different slogans for their demands.
Addressing on the occasion, president of the organization, Muhammad Ramazan Mayo, demanded of the government to end loadshedding of electricity and gas. He said the government should make the Kalabagh Dam to overcome the energy crisis.
He also alleged that traffic wardens were not treating the public well and ticketed vehicles without any reason. He demanded the IG Punjab take notice of the matter.
