Dua Lipa and American vocalist Ariana Grande are winning the hearts of music fans as the British singer and model's 'Levitating' has got the honour of the most played song and American singer has become the most-played artist on iHeartRadio's stations in 2021.
iHeartRadio, which is the world’s largest radio network, released the list of most heard songs on Monday. The radio took into consideration the total audience spins (TAS) and streams across its stations nationwide and on the iHeartRadio app.
Dua Lipa's “Levitating” has received an audience of nearly 1.2 billion in the US alone, according to iHeartRadio. Meanwhile, Ariana Grande has grabbed the attention of one of more than 2.6 billion music lovers.
The iHeartRadio issued the lists of the top 10 most played songs and artists.
The Total Audience Spins calculation is based on certified Mediabase airplay and is multiplied by the number of persons listening to the radio at the time of those plays, delivering total audience impressions which is the broadcast equivalent of the number of streams from a streaming music service, according to iHeartRadio.
