Junior ranking tennis tourney from Wed

RAWALPINDI: Over 100 junior players from different parts of the country will be displaying their talent and potential in All Pakistan Junior Ranking tennis tournament which goes into action on Wednesday at Shalimar Club courts here.

"The week-long event is being held for the first time in Rawalpindi and will help in talent hunt," Director of the tournament Inam-ul-Haq said.

He said the events to be contested are boys singles and junior doubles under-18, girls singles under-18 and boys singles under-14.

Cash prizes of Rs, 100,000 will be at stake for the winners and runners up.

The last date for entries in the five-day event is Tuesday (January 31) while draws will also be held on same day. (APP)
