FAISALABAD: All CNG stations in Faisalabad and Bahawalpur districts are closed for two and a half days starting from 6 am on Thursday (today) while the gas supply to the industrial sector of Faisalabad and Multan regions has been resumed, Geo News reported.
The closure of CNG stations is the part of load management by the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) to overcome the shortage of gas.
The gas supply will be suspended to all CNG stations of Faisalabad and Bahawalpur from 6 am on February 2 that will continue till 10:00 pm on February 4.
Areas affected by the CNG closure include Sargodha, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Khushab, Mianwali, Chiniot, Rahim Yar Khan and Bahawalnagar.
Long queues of vehicles were witnessed in Multan after the resumption of CNG supply to gas filling stations.
Gas supply to the industrial sector of Faisalabad resumed today at 6 am that will continue till Saturday 6am.
