Pakistan Railways crackdown on encroachers

QUETTA: Anti-encroachment operation was carried out against illegal vegetable market built on Pakistan Railways land in here on Tuesday.

Senior officials of the Pakistan Railways Quetta division supervised anti-encroachment operation.

Speaking to media on the occasion, they said that several illegal shops of vegetable market built on Railways land were demolished.

"In first phase of the operation, commercial markets will be demolished while illegal residential buildings would also be demolished in second phase," they said.

Heavy contingent of law enforcement personnel were present on this occasion.

No any untoward incident was reported. (APP)
