Benazir Cards issued to women in Quetta

QUETTA: Benazir Cards were issued to poor women during a ceremony organized by the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Balochistan region here in Quetta.

President PPP Balochistan chapter and provincial minister Mir Sadiq Umrani delivered the Benazir Cards to a large number of women hailing from different parts of the provincial capital. BISP officials were also present on the occasion.

PPP Balochistan president on the occasion highlighted the measures taken by the incumbent government for the welfare of the downtrodden class of the county.

"About 9,000 families in Quetta would get Rs 1,000 per month under the BISP programme through this debit cards," he said. (APP)
