HYDERABAD: Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Hyderabad Chapter has decided to organise a seminar here in the last week of the current month to discuss law and order situation and protection of the medical community.
It was decided in a meeting presided over by Prof. Dr. Beekha Ram Devera Jani and attended among others by former director general Sindh Health Services Prof. Dr. Hadi Bux Jatoi, Ex-medical superintendent Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad Dr. Muhammad Waseem Shaikh, Dr. M.H. Gulzar and Dr. Attaullah Memon here on Tuesday.
The meeting decided to invite Sindh Health Minister Dr. Saghir Ahmed and Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Hussain Wassan to attend the seminar besides lawyers, members of the civil society and non-governmental organizations.
The meeting also formed a committee which will meet with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Sindh Health Minister Dr. Saghir Ahmed in respect of the promotions of doctors. The meeting also decided to launch new membership drive in PMA Hyderabad. (APP)
