Cases against 300 people registered

QUETTA: Police on Thursday registered cases against as many as 300 people accused of arson attacks and hampering the crack down launched by law enforcement agencies against the land grabbers on the Railway land in Quetta.

Civil Line PS officials said that cases against 300 people have been lodged for their resistance to the court orders.

"People, who were accused of attacking police personnel, resorted to aerial firing and arson attacks had been identified," they said adding however no arrest has been made in this connection.

It may be mentioned here that following the directives of court, Balochistan police had launched operation against the Railway land grabbers at Railway Colony in Quetta.
