LAHORE: Minister Law and Parliamentary Affairs Punjab Rana Sanaullah Khan said on Wednesday the suspended doctors would not be restored and their fate would be decided in the light of findings of the judicial inquiry report about medicine deaths.
Talking to reporters at the Punjab Assembly, he said, a judicial commission was conducting inquiry into the deaths caused by Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC)'s substandard medicines and the doctors would remain suspended until the inquiry is received.
To a question, he said that protesting young doctors should shun making patients hostage. He said, the government was not only ready for talks with young doctors but also to consider their demands. (APP)
