HYDERABAD: The first polio case of the current year has been detected in a 12 months old infant Sundar Lal Bhagri.
Executive District Health Officer Dr Baksh Ali Pitafi confirmed the case here on Wednesday.
He said that it was the second such case in Sindh and first in Hyderabad.
Dr Pitafi claimed that the child was administered seven doses of anti-polio drops, however, he missed the last dose because he was under treatment in a hospital. (APP)
