CHAMAN: Frontier Corps Balochistan on Thursday thwarting terror bid arrested three alleged terrorists and seized huge quantity of explosives here in Chaman area of Balochistan.
Lieutenant Colonel Frontier Corps Balochistan Mohammad Tanveer told APP that FC team during the routine search at Quetta- Chaman highway stopped a Mazda truck heading to Quetta from Chaman.
On being searched, explosive weighing 14 kg helpful to the bomb making was recovered from the hidden cavity of the truck. Besides, remote controls, hundreds of meter wire, detonators were also seized, he added.
FC detained all three people traveling on the track and started investigation.
FC official noted that the alleged terrorists were transferring explosive from Afghanistan to interior parts of the country for terror purposes which was foiled by the FC. (APP)
