Meanwhile Haji Habibur Rehman has been appointed as the new Inspector General of the Punjab police.
The tenure of Haji Habibur Rehman will be complete in 11 months and prior to this appointment he had severed as the SSP in Lahore and Peshawar.
He had also served as CCPO Lahore during Governor Rule.
DG FIA Tehseen Shah has been appointed as DG National Police Bureau.
