QUETTA: Picking apart the anti-Pakistan resolution tabled in US congress, Chief Minister Balochistan, Sardar Aslam Raisani, has warned America to hold its watchdog lawmakers on a tight leash in its own backyard, Geo News reported.
“ With an elected government in place, the US resolution is an insult to the mandate of masses of Balochistan”, said a furious Raisani.
He thrashed the resolution introduced by the chairman of the subcommittee on oversight and investigations of America’s House Foreign Affairs Committee, Dana Rohrabacher in the strongest of words.
It is pertinent to mention here that the resolution supports the "right of self-determination of Balochs, for being victims of human rights violations and oppression despite being the largest province.
Raisani said the separatist movement in the mineral-rich province was nothing but a futile adventurism, and Americans’ hopping on this crazy bandwagon was deplorable.
