Nishtar Hospital daycare center underway

MULTAN: Work on establishing first ever Day Care Centre (DCC) for lady doctors' children serving at Labour Room at Nishtar hospital has started here on Saturday.

Initially, the state of the art DCC facility would be extended to labour room's doctors. The facility further would be extended to all lady doctors performing duties at the hospital.

Directors Labour Room, Dr Mohammad Ali Khan and Dr Abdullah Asif told APP that initial requirements are provision of furniture and baby cots with related facilities to be provided step by step at the Day Care Centre.

Similarly, he said that waiting room of Labour ward was properly given extension to facilitate families of ladies staff because it was lacking the proper maintenance and related facilities. (APP)
