Regularization of LHWs demanded

QUETTA: The Keshangi Development Organization, non-governmental organization working in health sector, has demanded of the government to regularize the service of lady health workers (LHWs).

In a statement issued here on Sunday, the organization leaders including Muhammad Yaqoob Baloch, Muhammad Usman Mengal and others said that the lady health workers have been discharging their duties in health sectors for last 18 years, but their service have not been regularized.

They said Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto had promised that the Pakistan Peoples Party after coming in power would regularize the service of LHWs. (APP)
