HYDERABAD: Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) has urged the district's civic authorities to maintain cleanliness in the city.
HCCI's President Seth Goharullah in a statement issued here on Sunday called the attention of the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) and town municipal authorities to the problems caused to the business and trade areas.
He said the heaps of uncollected garbage and sewerage water floating over the roads caused hardship to the customers and the shop keepers alike in many commercial areas of Hyderabad.
Additionally, similar problems also exit in the industrial zones, he added. Goharullah identified more than 100 localities including Rahim Shopping Center, Market, Faqir Ka Pirh and others and requested the Commissioner Hyderabad division Ahmed Baksh Narejo, Deputy Commissioner Asif Memon, Municipal Administration Azhar Qadir Memon and MD of WASA Saleemuddin to address the situation on priority.
