Paramilitary vehicle targeted in Shabqadar

PESHAWAR: A paramilitary vehicle was targeted in a remote control bomb blast on Wednesday in the area of Shabqadar, district Charsaddha.

As a result of the blast the vehicle was destroyed completely while the paramilitary personnel remained unhurt. According to police officials, the paramilitary vehicle was on routine patrolling from Mohmand Agency to Shabqadar when it was targeted by miscreants using a remote control explosive improvised devise placed along the roadside near Dandu Phul Police check post.

District Police Officer (DPO) Charsadda Nisar Hussain Marwat reached on spot soon after the incident. The police cordoned off the area and started search operation.
