Imam-ul-Haq becomes only the 10th Pakistani player to hit 150 against the Aussies

RAWALPINDI: Left-handed opener Imam-ul-Haq delivered one of the most memorable innings of his career in a historic Test against Australia, becoming only the 10th Pakistani to hit 150 against the Aussies.

Reopening his overnight score of 132, Imam kept his emotions under control and continued dotting the scoreboard in the morning session of Day 2, eventually completing his maiden 150-run knock.

Earlier, the players who scored 150 against Australia are Javed Miandad, Younis Khan, Saleem Malik, Azhar Ali, Ijaz Ahmed, Majid Khan, Mohsin Khan, Asif Iqbal, Saeed Ahmed.

It was also only the 11th occasion in Pakistan's Test cricket history, that a batter scored 150 runs in an innings. Younis Khan has achieved the feat twice during his illustrious career.

Imam, with his solid resistance, put Pakistan in the driving seat so far in the opening Test of three-match series here at Pindi Cricket Stadium.
