RAWALPINDI: After losing Imam-ul-Haq and Azhar Ali's wicket on the second day of the Pakistan-Australia Test match, former fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar advised Babar Azam to “declare and have a crack at Aussies in fading light."

Akhtar said that the "expected acceleration" was not happening for Pakistan which is why they "must have a go" at Australia's "tired opening batsmen".

Soon after the tweet, Babar had declared Pakistan's innings with 476 runs on the board at the loss of four wickets.

Pakistani batsmen Azhar Ali and Imam-ul-Haq dominated the opponents with their batting.

Azhar made 185 while Imam was dismissed for 157.
