Sania Mirza celebrates Shoaib Malik's belated birthday with love, fervour

Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza is well-known on social media for posting glimpses of her personal and professional life from time to time. 

Taking to her Instagram page on Saturday evening, Sania reshared several Instagram Stories in which she could be seen celebrating her husband, Shoaib Malik's, belated birthday along with other family members and friends. 

The former Pakistani cricket captain had turned 40 years of age on February 1, but at the time, he was in Karachi to participate in the Pakistan Super League's (PSL) seventh addition. 

Since he was part of the biosecure bubble, he was unable to celebrate his birthday with his family at the time. But now that he's back to Dubai, Sania threw a lavish party to make her husband feel special.

For the occasion, Shoaib dressed up casually in a navy-blue t-shirt and jeans, son Izhaan also dressed up smartly, while Sania opted for a glamorous dark grey glittery outfit.

Izhaan also cut the cake on behalf of his dad. 

The stories were uploaded by Sania's sister, Anam, as well as other friends which Sania reshared to her stories.

On February 1, Sania had posted a heart-warming message on Instagram for her hubby in which she could be seen posing while sitting in an aeroplane with her son and Malik.

"Happy Birthday from us to you. May you continue to age backwards and give everyone a complex including me," she had written in the caption.
