  • Fawad claims Opposition will go home with its no-confidence motion.
  • Minister says all its promises will fall flat in coming week.
  • Fawad says PM Imran Khan to go an “important tour” after hosting OIC conference.

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry claimed on Sunday that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s 48-hour deadline and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari’s five-day ultimatum turned into a “wooden horse”.

Taking to Twitter, Chaudhry claimed that the Opposition will go home with its no-confidence motion and all its "promises will fall flat in the coming week."

The minister also shared that PM Imran Khan, after hosting the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) council of foreign ministers conference in Islamabad, will go on an “important tour”.

Bilawal, earlier today, had advised PM Imran to resign before the joint Opposition tables the no-confidence motion against the incumbent government.

On the other hand, Fazl had announced on Wednesday that the Opposition will table a no-confidence motion to topple the PTI-led government within the next 48 hours.
