ISLAMABAD: Lashing out at the PTI-led government, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the time has come to send the “puppet government” home.

Bilawal made the remarks while speaking to the participants of PPP’s long march before it culminated at Islamabad’s D-Chowk Tuesday night. The PPP’s “Awami March” started from Karachi on February 27 and ended in Islamabad.

Referring to the Opposition’s not-trust motion, the PPP leader said, “Imran Khan’s legs are trembling and he is sweating.”

Speaking on the occasion, Bilawal thanked the participants of the march and said that the "brave participants" were protesting against the selected government since day one.

“We have been protesting against this puppet [PM Imran] for last three years and we have exposed him before the world that he is selected not elected since day one,” said Bilawal.

He maintained that no-trust motion is the Opposition's "democratic weapon", adding that they believe that democracy is the best revenge.

“This puppet was imposed by an undemocratic way on the nation, but we are now sending him [Imran Khan] home through a democratic way and what could be the best revenge than this,” he added.

Bilawal further said, “Prime Minister Imran Khan has lost the confidence of masses and now the time has come that parliament should also show no confidence in him.”

“We don’t have any personal enmity with Imran Khan but we have a firm stance on our principles,” he added.

Bilawal warns ‘facilitators’ of PM Imran Khan

“I want to warn all the forces and facilitators of Imran Khan that the masses will not tolerate this puppet government anymore,” he said, adding that the “political forces are united" and ready to do "politics”.

The PPP leader said that if anyone unconstitutionally and unlawfully tries to save the “selected” then the masses will not pardon them and will hold them accountable along with Imran Khan.

He maintained that this no-confidence motion is an opportunity for people to show the masses that they are standing with the people but not with the “puppet government”.
