Aurat March was held on International Women's Day, March 8, at Jinnah Park.
Like every year, feminists joined hands to raise their voices and march for the rights of women despite strong resistance from various political and religious parties.
This year was a change of venue, where instead of Frere Hall, the organisers aimed a greater influx of attendees near Quaid's Mausoleum.
Women and men of all ages expressed their solidarity with the movement by holding their placards high. Some prominent ideas this year, that commanded attention, ranged from equal pay gap to sexual harassment and justice for transgenders.
The procession was guarded by police, who blocked all the roads around the venue ahead of the rally.
