HYDERABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate Barrister Hasnain Mirza, son of former Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza has won Sindh Assembly seat by defeating his rivals with a clear margin.

According to unofficial results revealed by District Returning Officer, Noor Muhammad Marri, the PPPP candidate Hasnain Mirza secured 40901 votes to win PS-57 Badin-III polls. His closest rival was Syed Ali Bakhsh Shah who got 7866 votes. PML-N candidate Mir Manzoor Talpur remained third with 2568 votes.

There were 97479 total registered votes in this constituency and the ECP had set up 215 polling stations for vote cast. (APP)
